The regime security branches have been under a state of alert in Deir Ezzor city since yesterday, as they deployed eight joint patrols at the Dalah roundabout, Al-Muwazafine, Al-Halwin, Al-Jazz, Al-Kora Al-Ardiyah, as well as the entrances of the city, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to our reporter, the joint patrols are conducting thorough searches and detaining anyone they suspect.
He pointed out that military security checkpoints prevent residents of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor (east of the Euphrates) from entering the city of Deir Ezzor.
The river crossings in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor are operating normally, while they are completely stopped in the north and east of the province.
