The political leadership in Deir Ezzor province, represented by the Secretary of the Baath Party branch and the governor, instructed all administrative agencies and municipalities to form committees to collect donations, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the committee consists of (the mayor, the mukhtar and the secretary of the partisan division) to collect in-kind and material donations from the people of Deir Ezzor for the earthquake victims in Lattakia, Aleppo and Hama governorates.
The attempts to collect donations by the Assad regime in the areas of Deir Ezzor were rejected, from the first days until today, by the people due to their lack of confidence that it would reach the affected people.
