DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that the Peasants Union of the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor imposed an amount of between 5 and 10 million Syrian pounds on agricultural and sheep cooperative societies.
He added that the federation imposed a specific amount on each association, according to its ownership, as cash donations in the name of the Baath Party for the earthquake victims in the areas controlled by the Assad regime.
He emphasized that the boards of directors of the associations refused to pay due to the lack of balance in those associations that are already bankrupt and that rely on their financing to collect costs from farmers, and the peasant association stipulated that the minutes be signed to pay those cash amounts, which stops the work of the sheep associations by extracting fodder and agricultural materials from subsidized diesel allocations. And compost in case of refusal to pay.
Most of the people of Deir Ezzor province, except for militia leaders and influential people with human hypocrisy, rejected those donations previously announced by the Directorate of Endowments in Mosques, due to lack of confidence in their delivery to the earthquake-affected people in the country.
