DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
After the names of the candidates for the People’s Assembly in Deir Ezzor Governorate, which amounted to 12 seats, were issued, it was noted that the first Shiite civilian figure in Deir Ez-Zor and the current member of the People’s Assembly, “Muhammad Amin Hussein Al-Raja,” was absent.
The absence of “Al-Raja” came with the presence of a number of people from his town, “Hatla”, led by the member of the leadership of the Baath Party branch, “Omar Al-Salama”.
“Al-Raja” has been living in the Sayyida Zeinab area in the Damascus countryside in recent years, and is dedicated to Shiite affairs and the work of Iranian organizations, from which mass marriages of dozens of Shiite young men were known at the expense of the Iranian seminary.
It is noteworthy that the lists of names of People’s Assembly candidates that were issued yesterday, amounting to 361 candidates, are ridiculous, after they included members of the Provincial Council, the party branch, its party divisions, the Peasants’ Union, mayors, and leaders of the National Defense militia and its auxiliary militias.
