The river post crossing that connects the city of Al-Mayadeen to the town of Al-Hawaij has been reopened
in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that the working hours of the crossing have been set from 7 am to 4 pm on a daily basis, and only funerals are exempted from the specified working hours.
He added added that it is currently prohibited to transport furniture, fuel, cars or motorcycles through the crossing, and it has been designated for the transportation of citizens and their personal belongings only, provided that they are inspected by both parties.
The post crossing is considered one of the most important water crossings in the city of Al-Mayadeen, as it facilitates the movement of students, employees and medical cases between the two banks of the Euphrates River, and the cost of transportation for a person is 5,000 thousand Syrian pounds via small boats or river ferries, in a period of time not exceeding five minutes.
