The Revolutionary Guard militia held a funeral for the killing of the Iranian president and his accompanying delegation, at the Iranian Cultural Center in the city of Deir Ezzor, reported by a DeirEzzor24 local reporter.
Our reporter said that at the top of the list of recipients of condolences was “Hajj Askar,” one of the most prominent leaders of the Revolutionary Guard militia in Al-Bukamal, who returned from health leave in Tehran two days ago.
He added that groups of tribal sheikhs and notables loyal to the Assad regime came to the funeral council to offer condolences.
It is noteworthy that most of the Iranian leaders in the militias in Deir Ezzor went to Damascus to attend the funeral held in the hall of the Iranian embassy in Damascus.
