DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Militia opened the door to recruitment for Syrians in Deir Ezzor Governorate, during the past month, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network .
Our reporter said that the militia allocated a monthly salary of $200 per month, which is spent equally at a rate of $100 from the Revolutionary Guards Militia’s finances in Deir Ezzor and $100 from the Popular Mobilization Militia.
He added that the recruitment began more than a month ago and witnessed the graduation of the first course yesterday, which included more than 85 members, all from the Albukamal area east of Deir Ezzor Governorate.
It is worth noting that the recruitment was accepted and popular among the members, especially after the widespread unemployment in the region and the search for work to secure a living, especially by those coming from Lebanon.
The Popular Mobilization Forces militia points are spread on the Syrian-Iraqi border and the town of Al-Hari is considered its command center in Deir Ezzor Governorate. It possesses heavy and light weapons. This militia is led by Iraqi pilgrims who underwent military courses and graduated from the Iranian city of Qom.
