The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia raised the salaries of village guard members to 200,000 instead of 35,000 liras per member, according to a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent.

Its members are present in every village and town in the areas controlled by the Assad regime inDeirEzzor It includes the village sheik or one of its notables, the mukhtar, the director of a school, and the imam or muezzin of one of the village mosques, in addition to 3 members from the general population.
