DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
A large number of residents of the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, have recently refrained from buying eggs, due to the high prices, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the price of one carton of eggs reached 20,000 Syrian pounds, a number that eggs had not reached in Syria before.
He pointed out that the rise is due to the rise in the price of the dollar throughout the country and the closure of the border gate of smuggling under the hands of the Iraqi crowd militia.
The average salary of an employee in Syria does not exceed 100,000 Syrian pounds, which is equivalent to 5 cartons of eggs.
