A private source told DeirEzzor24 Network that the Fourth Division in Deir Ezzor resorted to smuggling medicines to expand its smuggling operations.
According to the source, the Fourth Division is using a new way to obtain funds, by smuggling medicines, sexual tonics, and narcotic drugs to SDF-controlled areas through the river crossings west of Deir Ezzor, which is under its complete control.
The Fourth Division has almost completely controlled smuggling operations in Deir Ezzor, especially between areas controlled by the Assad regime and areas controlled by the SDF.
