DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The governor of Deir Ezzor issued orders to open the road located under the Kanama bridge and leads to the Hawija Sakr neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, under the pretext of relieving pressure on other areas such as Corniche Street and the Friends Park (Karamish), a private local source told the DeirEzzor24 network today.
The source said that the governor’s decision came at the request of the commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Deir Ezzor.
On the other hand, one of our local reporters also reported that the aforementioned road, which has been open since yesterday, will be used more by the Iranian military than civilians, as it hides the movement of military vehicles and shortens the time and distance towards the Iranian headquarters in Hawija Sakr.
The Iranian militias use the Hawija Sakr area in the city of Deir Ezzor as their security square, where many headquarters and military points are based, in addition to the Friends Park.
