A DeirEzzor24 local reporter stated today that the security and military committee in Al-Bukamal merged a section of the National Defense Militia members, who operate in Al-Bukamal, Al-Quria and Al-Ashara sectors, into the Fourth Division.
Our reporter added that the members are now administratively affiliated with the division while remaining in their current points belonging to the Defense Militia until they are withdrawn for a direct military course for the Fourth Division.
The reason for this operation is not yet known, noting that the National Defense Militia is an unofficial military militia and its members are neither military nor registered with Assad’s forces.
