DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The checkpoints of the Fourth Division in Deir Ezzor province seize Iraqi cement and consider it a prohibited commodity in the region, regardless of the quantity being transported, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
He stated that the Fourth Division prohibits the trade of Iraqi cement in Deir Ezzor since its prices are about 15,000 Syrian pounds lower per bag compared to Syrian cement.
He added that Iraqi cement enters Deir Ezzor province through traders affiliated with the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and pilgrims from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia via the Al-Bukamal border crossing with Iraq.
The Fourth Division sells the seized quantities of Iraqi cement to traders in the provinces of Aleppo and Hama.
