DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

The DeirEzzor Red Crescent has decided to grant approximately 3,000 families from areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir ez-Zor province a sum of 1.1 million Syrian pounds each due to complaints about being deprived of monthly aid, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24.

He added that the amount will be provided to each family that has filed complaints about being denied monthly assistance, as this issue has become a matter of public concern.

There have been reports and complaints against the Deir Ezzor branch of the Red Crescent in recent times due to widespread corruption within the organization and questionable choices of families benefiting from the support, which included a significant number of ineligible recipients while overlooking genuinely impoverished families
