Assad’s forces and the security branches in Deir Ezzor continued the campaign of conscriptions, that they have launched three days ago, where dozens of young men have been taken to the compulsory service so far, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent in Deir Ezzor city said that the “flying” temporary checkpoints of Assad’s forces and the security branches filled the streets of the city, in addition to checkpoints near the government departments, the institutes, and the colleges in search of young men within the age of compulsory service.
Sources confirmed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that in the last campaign, Assad’s forces have set a number of 1,500 young people to be taken to the compulsory service.
The same sources noted that the campaign was carried out due to the significant decrease in the fighters numbers on the fronts of Aleppo and the coast, and that Assad’s forces will continue their campaign in Deir Ezzor until 1,500 fighters are captured and recruited in the fronts of the Syrian north, Aleppo and the coast.
It is noteworthy that the campaign has affected members of the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, where a number of the militia elements were arrested and taken to compulsory service, while the Iranian and Russian militia members remained safe from the campaign carried out by Assad’s forces.
