DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
DeirEzzor24 Network learned from private sources that Nawaf Al-Bashir, the leader of the tribal militia affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard militia, is using his influence in Deir Ezzor to overthrow Madloul Al-Aziz.
The sources said that the dispute between Al-Bashir and Al-Aziz escalated, and they exchanged words and threats over the phone. Al-Bashir sought the help of Hajj Askar, a leader in the Revolutionary Guard militia, to communicate with the Iranian ambassador in Damascus to pass the name of the head of the Fatwa Club and the current representative, Madloul Al-Aziz, among them. The names of the representatives of the Assad regime’s parliament, against whom the decision to lift immunity was issued unanimously at the People’s Assembly session yesterday afternoon.
The decision came after the Sharia and Constitutional Committee and in the presence of the Minister of Justice issued a decision to investigate them on charges of corruption and waste of public money, knowing that they are one of the arms of Al-Qaterji militia.
The sources added that Al-Bashir was not satisfied with this to overthrow Al-Aziz, but rather submitted economic reports that included corruption and bribery operations against Al-Aziz with the aim of depriving him of running for the People’s Assembly for the current role and passing the name of the candidate Jassem Al-Badr instead, acting representative of the Muhammad “Hamsho” group in the eastern region and the Jazeera area.
The DeirEzzor24 network has revealed the details of the dispute between Nawaf Al-Bashir and Madloul Al-Aziz and its reasons between the two parties since it began weeks ago.
