DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Yesterday, the Governor of Deir Ezzor, Fadel Najjar, inspected the dirt bridge linking the city of Deir Ezzor to the seven villages east of the Euphrates, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to our reporter, the governor’s interest in the earthen bridge came as a result of the rise in the level of the Euphrates River by approximately 75 cm since yesterday.
The Water Resources Directorate warned about a week ago of an increase in the amount of water flowing from the Euphrates Dam, which would harm the outlets of agricultural societies and water stations and threaten the earthen bridge with collapse.
