Firas al-Jaham, known as “Firas al-Iraqiya”, visited the Directorate of Education in Deir Ezzor yesterday to congratulate “Nashat al-Ali” for his new position as the director of education in Deir Ezzor.
Firas al-Iraqiya is the commander of the National Defence Militia in Deir Ezzor, and according to past reports, he has a junior certificate (the ninth grade), but he abused his position as commander of the national defence to forge a secondary certificate.
Al-Ali has a long history in reporting his colleagues in the directorate to the security branches, and is an active member of the Baath Party.
According to pages supporting Assad regime, Al-Iraqiya has made recommendations to the new education director regarding the development of education, which reflects the horrible situation of education in Deir Ezzor.
It is indicated that education has suffered greatly for years due to the security branches interference in recruiting employees and administrators of education, and the failure to find solutions to the problems of the educational process in Deir Ezzor.
