The correspondent of the DeirEzzor24 network said that the headquarters of the Fourth Division on the main street in the town of Al-Mariyah, east of Deir Ezzor, is offering a large quantity of wood for sale (firewood) for one million and 800 thousand Syrian pounds per ton.
Our reporter said that the wood that the Fourth Division offers for sale was obtained from illegally cutting trees from various areas of Deir Ezzor.
The factions of Assad’s forces are now fighting among themselves over the cutting of public and private forest trees. They are divided between Military Security, the Republican Guard, and the Fourth Division. They have recently cut down the trees of Al-Husseiniyah, Saalo, and the Euphrates Center in the town of Al-Mariyah.
