On Saturday and Sunday, November 28-29, Russian military police intensified patrols in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the military police intensified patrols in al-Mayadeen following the tension that took place between the Fifth Corps and The Hezbollah militia in the city, as two patrols of the two parties quarrelled with each other.
The 5th Corps of Assad’s forces is led by Russian military advisers, which explains the Russian military police intervention.
