A talented Syrian teenage footballer enabled his German team to win today after scoring two goals against their adversary, attracting local German media’s attention.
The Syrian footballer’s name is Mohamed Ibrahim Khalafallah. He is originally from Al Bulayl in Deir Ezzor province. He was only 12-years-old when taking part in peaceful anti-Assad protests in Deir Ezzor in 2011.
He left the province for Turkey and managed to cross the sea to arrive as an illegal immigrant in Germany. He is now aged 16. His football skills and talents were admired by many German newspapers and ordinary people.
