Today, a volunteer team in Tabqa city, in cooperation with the city council, launched a community initiative to clean the city’s neighborhoods and streets under the slogan “Tabqa is Our Home.”
The campaign includes cleaning streets and public parks, followed by planting trees in a number of green spaces, in a move aimed at improving the environmental status and enhancing the city’s civilized appearance.
The initiative aims to promote a culture of public hygiene and instill a spirit of volunteer work among residents, especially in light of the new phase the city is witnessing after years of challenges.
The campaign was launched from the Cultural Center’s garden, with the participation of members of the security forces and the army, school students, and civil society activists.
Participants were distributed across several sites to clean streets and green spaces and remove waste.
This initiative comes as part of ongoing community efforts to improve the city’s service environment, encourage residents to maintain clean neighborhoods and public facilities, and promote the values of cooperation and teamwork.
