DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The rural areas of Deir Ezzor under the control of the Assad regime suffer from a severe shortage of sugar, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent pointed out that the shortage of sugar in most of the stores in the countryside of Deir Ezzor under the control of the Assad regime is caused by monopoly and storage by traders, in addition to the suspension of the distribution of subsidies for sugar and rice in the province’s consumer institutions for more than four months.
The price of a kilo of sugar on the black market in Deir Ezzor has reached 4000 Syrian pounds per kilo, in the absence of oversight and accountability.
