DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that the news of Assad’s forces and their allies mobilizing militarily to enter the western countryside of Deir Ezzor is untrue.
According to local sources, the villages and towns of western Deir Ezzor (east of the Euphrates) witnessed a high level of alert, after some opposition media pages broadcast news about Assad’s forces mobilizing groups to storm the area.
And the sources stated that this news came to confuse the peaceful movement spread in more than one area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, which aims to hold the leader of the Deir Ezzor Military Council, “Ahmed Al-Khabil” accountable, and to form a special military council for the Bakara tribe, against the background of the killing of two displaced girls in Hawaij Bu Masa’a last week. And accusing members of the Deir Ezzor Military Council who are relatives of “Ahmed Al-Khabil” of killing them.
The intelligence of the Assad regime is working under the supervision of “Nawaf al-Bashir” to activate cells belonging to it in the region to exploit the current events.
