A large spread of scorpions and snakes in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, with high temperatures and dust storms that have recently hit the area.
According to the source, during the past days, several cases of people stung by snakes or scorpions arrived at medical centers and hospitals in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
He pointed out that the majority of cases of stung were women and children, who were bitten near homes and in agricultural lands with the harvesting of wheat and barley crops.
He stressed that the large number of injuries resulted in the loss of necessary vaccines and medicines in medical centers and pharmacies in the region, where dozens of cases were recorded throughout the countryside of Deir Ezzor, which is under the control of the Assad regime, in the past two weeks.
