“Shiite” female delegation arrives in Al-Mayadeen from Damascus

A female delegation belonging to the Shiite “Um al-Banin” association in the Sayyida Zeinab area of Damascus visited Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside on Monday, September 21, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.

According to the correspondent, the delegation consisted of seven women. They visited a number of shiite militia centers in the city, and a number of houses in “al-Maharim” neighborhood and “Al-Arbaeen” Street in Al-Mayadeen.

The delegation provided 250,000 Syrian pounds for each of the families they visited.

Iran has activated its humanitarian associations and centers in Deir Ezzor, and is trying to use them in its political project in the region.
