The SDF transferred detainees held in its custody from Raqqa city to Hasakah province in the past 24 hours, according to a Deir Ezzor 24 Network correspondent.

Our correspondent reported that the transfer took place in closed vehicles, escorted by members of the SDF’s Internal Security Forces.

Local sources among the detainees’ families confirmed that the majority of those transferred are from the western and eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and were arrested recently.

The same sources added that the administration of Raqqa Central Prison and the Juvenile Detention Center informed the detainees’ families that they had been transferred to Hasakah prison for the purpose of formally charging them, depositing their personal belongings such as clothing and money, and familiarizing them with the visitation system in place there.

It is worth noting that a number of detainees were previously transferred from the western Deir Ezzor countryside to Raqqa city, and then, in the past 24 hours, they were transferred from Raqqa to Hasakah.
