On Tuesday, November 10, a member of Assad regime’s airforce intelligence service was killed and several others were injured as a result of a clash with the SDF, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that a group of the airforce intelligence services in Al-Quriyah city (west of the Euphrates), tried to cross the Euphrates River at dawn to al-Tayanah town on the opposite side (east of the Euphrates), but the SDF posts on the river bank clashed with the group, which led to the killing of Qusay Rashid al-Abed, a member of the intelligence services, and the injury of 3 other members.
The correspondent added that after the incident, the SDF closed all the river crossings in al-Tayanah town and set up more posts on the river bank.
Assad regime has intensified its activities to destabilize the areas east of the Euphrates after the international coalition and the SDF increased their security operations in many areas of Deir Ezzor.
