The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Released Madrooj al-Salbi from the village of al-Marshidah following days of arrest. Al-Salbi was transported to the hospital of al-Qaysoom in the town of Hajin.
Social media outlets reported news that al-Salbi bore signs of torture, and that the SDF released detainees whom it was said the SDF tortured without clear charges against them or arresting them on suspence.
The SDF arrests people from time to time on charges of Daesh affiliation or by mistake; however, news of the released detainees’ bearing signs of torture were reported, which is a blatant violation of human rights.
Recently, the SDF has arrested Hani Salah al-Radini along with three people, claiming to be Daesh members; however, the detainees’ membership was not verified.
