Yesterday, Tuesday 20-8-2019, a military force of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched a security campaign in Breiha village east of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent confirmed that the campaign came after unidentified assailants attacked a vehicle of the SDF on the outskirts of Breiha village, which resulted in the killing of an SDF element from Breiha village, and the injury of another.
According to our correspondent, the campaign resulted in the arrest of a group of suspects, who were interrogated and then released without identifying the perpetrators.
It is noteworthy that the military attacks carried out by “unknown assailants” are frequent in the areas of the Deir ezzor countryside that are under the control of the Syrian democratic forces (SDF).
