The leader, Fadi Al-Afees, mobilized the day before yesterday, at the behest of Brigadier General Ahmed, head of the Military Security Branch in Deir Ezzor, the auxiliary elements of the military security and some national defense militias, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the crowd also included a group of clans brigade affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia led by “Nawaf al-Bashir” and the al-Baqir Brigade militia in the town of Husseiniya, west of Deir Ezzor.
The reporter added that the crowd was with the intention of entering the western countryside under the control of the SDF, but the operation was met with a Russian refusal, in addition to the fear of targeting the international coalition warplanes, which witnessed intense flights over the area.
The crowd did not last for more than one hour, when the groups returned to their positions by order of the Russians.
