DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Russian forces closed the smuggling corridor linking the town of Tabiya Jazira, east of Deir Ezzor, which is under the control of the Russian militias, and the town of Jadeed Akidat, which is under the control of the SDF, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the reason for closing the corridor is the recent clashes that took place in the town of Al-Tabiya a few days ago, in which a soldier from the Fifth Corps and another from the SDF were killed.
He added that the aforementioned corridor is located along the Euphrates River and was used by the Syrian officers, through which sugar, diesel fuel, gasoline and fertilizers are transported in limited quantities.
The corridor was closed by the Second Battalion of the Fifth Corps, by order of the Brigade Command, in the town of Hatla, north of Deir Ezzor.
