The Russian Reconciliation Center in the town of Hatla in Deir Ezzor distributed aid this morning, in celebration of what they called “Victory Day”, which Russia celebrates on the ninth of May each year, as it commemorates what it called its victory over Nazism in World War II.
The event was attended by the head of the Deir Ezzor Governorate Council, Dr. Malik Al-Omar, a member of the Executive Office, “Kanaan Abdel-Wahhab”, the mayor of the town of Hatla “Fadhel Al-Younes”, in addition to the Mukhtar of Marrat, Abdel Aziz the journalist, and some notables of the eastern countryside.
The distributed aid aroused the ridicule of the people, as it included a kilo and a half of sugar, a can of oil, 2 kilos of flour, a kilo of rice, and 6 cans of Nestle.
