Deir Ezzor 24 network knew that Russia has moved about 100 members of the Fifth Corps from Deir Ezzor to the Ein Issa area in the countryside of Raqqa province. According to a source, Russia moved the members to fight alongside the Syrian democratic forces (SDF) in the battles it is fighting in the area against the so-called National Army backed by Turkey.
The same sources confirmed that the Russians intend to send more members to the area when the need arises, as fighting continues in Ein Issa area in al-Raqqah countryside between the SDF and the National Army.
Russia sent the members to Ein Issa at a time the National Army announced what it called the “battle to liberate Ein Issa”.
