DeirEzzor24 exclusive report

A reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network said that the river crossing linking the areas controlled by the SDF in the town of Baghouz and the city of Al-Bukamal, which is under the control of the Iranian-backed militias, has been reopened.

Our reporter added that the crossing will be used for commercial exchange operations and will be managed by the SDF in the areas under its control through two customs points, while the Iranian-backed militias will also manage it through two customs points, and the two points are supervised by the Military Security Branch and the Fourth Division.

He confirmed that it will currently be used to transport commercial goods, while civilians will be allowed to cross it in a few days.

The Iranian-backed militias stipulated that they have full control over the crossing and its financial revenues in order to allow the reopening of the crossing.
