This morning, military reinforcements for the Fourth Division arrived in Deir Ezzor Governorate, coming from the capital, Damascus, according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
Our local reporter said that the reinforcements included a number of heavy vehicles and armored vehicles, and dozens of members, and they were transferred to the Al-Mayadeen desert, east of Deir Ezzor, to replace points belonging to the Iranian-backed militias after the militias vacated their points in the Al-Mayadeen desert in favor of the division.
The Iranian-backed militias evacuated the advanced points in the Al-Mayadeen desert, east of Deir Ezzor, and instructed Assad’s forces to send elements to cover these points to tighten their grip on the city.
