On Friday morning, the Assad Regime Military Police continued to arrest young men for compulsory recruitment. The police established checkpoints in al-Houd street in the al-Qusoor area in the city of Deir Ezzor for this purpose.
These operations hardly stop in one place to appear in another as a part of campaigns to push the people of the area into the ranks of what is known as the Assad regime’s army, while the young men express clear resentment, and most of them hide to escape these campaigns targeting them and have nothing to do with.
The police establish temporary checkpoints from time to time with the aim of trapping young men while also inspecting buses and public transportation, which makes young men’s movement difficult.
