Last night, Saturday, May 22, a dispute took place between members of the National Defense militia (NDF) and local members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia (IRGC) in a celebration tent near the party building in al-Bukamal city, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the dispute started when members of the IRGC militia arrested a man during the celebration, under the pretext that he is wanted by them. Some of the detainee relatives, who are members of the NDF militia, intervened to release him and got him out of the celebration.
This led to a verbal altercation between them and IRGC members, who threatened to arrest them.
Electoral tents supporting Bashar al-Assad spread in al-Bukamal city, just like the other areas controlled by Assad regime in Deir Ezzor.
