The Deir Ezzor Health Directorate provided the dialysis center in the city of Albukamal with four new kidney dialysis machines, as part of a plan aimed at strengthening health services and developing the capabilities of specialized medical centers in the governorate.
The Directorate confirmed that the new devices will contribute to increasing the center’s capacity, allowing a greater number of dialysis sessions to be provided to patients, and reducing the pressure on the medical personnel and equipment currently in place.
This step is also expected to help reduce patient referrals to other centers outside the area and ensure consistent treatment delivery, which will positively impact the quality of healthcare provided to patients with kidney failure in the Eastern Province.
Providing the center with these devices comes within the framework of efforts aimed at improving medical services and meeting the growing health needs of the population, by supporting health facilities with the necessary equipment and raising their operational efficiency.
