Promote Petroleum Services Company (Promote Services) launched a specialized training program for petroleum engineers and staff of the Health, Safety and Environment Department (HSE), with the aim of enhancing occupational safety standards and raising the readiness of workers in the oil and gas sector.
The program focuses on qualifying participants to measure natural radiation levels (NORM) in oil fields and equipment in Deir Ezzor Governorate, ensuring the application of safety and prevention procedures in accordance with approved international standards in the domains of health, safety and environment.
The company confirmed that the program comes within its ongoing efforts to develop national cadres and raise their technical and professional efficiency, which contributes to improving the work environment and enhancing safety practices at various work sites in the oil sector.
