A convoy of nearly 100 vehicles, including trucks, tankers, and military vehicles, entered Albukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, this morning, from Iraq via the Al-Qaim crossing, according to a correspondent for DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the convoy belongs entirely to the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Militia, under the name of aid to Lebanon, and the Revolutionary Guards militia’s checkpoints were deployed along the main street and were highly mobilized.
It is worth noting that the Iranian-backed militias exploit humanitarian issues to bring in shipments of weapons and ammunition through aid convoys for their forces in Deir Ezzor, as happened on the occasion of the earthquake.
