DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
A segment of the people of Deir Ezzor suffer from their inability to secure treatment for chronic diseases (diabetes, blood pressure, cancer, etc.), according to a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our reporter said that this group called on Assad regime officials to provide free treatment for those suffering from chronic diseases, but there were no responses.
He added that this segment suffers from the lack of treatment in public hospitals in the city of Deir ez-Zor, which forced some to be treated in private hospitals and pay large sums of money, while others were forced to travel to the capital, Damascus, and elsewhere to obtain treatment.
Al-Assad Hospital in the city of Deir Ezzor lacks specialized medical and technical staff, which forced people to go to private clinics.
