The National Defense militia and the Al-Quds Brigade militia have been on alert in the city of Deir Ezzor and its countryside in the past few days, according to a DeirEzzor24 local reporter.
Our reporter said that the alert was due to the military campaign launched by Assad’s forces, the Iranian militias and their affiliated militias in the areas of Deir ez-Zor and Palmyra.
He added that Assad’s forces and the militias loyal to them completely banned vacations from the personnel, and forced them to spend the night inside the headquarters.
It is worth noting that some members of the National Defense Militia refrained from joining their headquarters, for fear of being transferred to desert points.
