Over the recent days, a lot of people fled the areas controlled by Assad’s forces in the western Deir Ezzor countryside for the areas controlled by the Syrian democratic forces (SDF), Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.

According to the correspondent, the people fled due to the lack of security and the spread of murders, thefts, kidnappings and frequent harrassment by Assad’s forces and Iranian and Russian militias.

The correspondent confirmed that over the past few days, young men fled Assad forces’ areas to escape forced conscription. Families also fled due to deteriorated security situation.

He noted that each family pay about 300,000 Syria pounds for smugglers to transport them to the opposite bank of the Euphrates.

Assad’s forces and Iranian militias control the western Deir Ezzor countryside, where the Iranian-backed Liwaa Al-Quds militia has the upper hand.
