The Assad forces carried out a campaign of arrests in Deir Ezzor against young men in many cities and towns of the eastern countryside.
The campaign was centered in Muhassan and Al-Bulayl cities and the surrounding towns to take the arrested young men for recruitment into compulsory military service.
The campaign also affected some of the young men who had completed their military service with the Assad’s forces, to fight again in their ranks under the heading of “emergency mobilization.”
It is noteworthy that the Assad forces carry out campaigns of arrests from time to time against young men returning to areas controlled by the Assad regime.
