A source told the Deir Ezzor 24 Network that on Wednesday morning, National Defense (ND)’ militia commanders quarreled in the ND major headquarters in the city of Deir Ezzor.
The source added that the reason for the quarrel is the unpaying fighters for over two months.
The source added that three days ago, Firas al-Jaham the ND’ commander promised that he will provide salaries; however, the period he gave to provide the money has ended without providing any. This stirred problems among ND’ commanders.
Recently, the ND in Deir Ezzor suspended salaries of 50 fighters who work in the city sectors, for unknown reasons.
