More than 50 civilians, including women and children, fell martyrs while dozens wounded following a new wave of air strikes conducted by Russian warplanes on residential buildings in Qourieh , Deir Ezzor’s eastern countryside, today. The civilian death toll from the aerial bombardment on Qourieh might increase.
Three missile were fired today afternoon by Russian warplanes on several targets, including a mosque in Qourieh named Al-Iman, Sultan bakery and the center of the city, leading to the immediate death of at least 50 civilians, including five entire families.
The air strikes have also destroyed six civilian homes and several shops in the targeted area.
Eyewitnesses have indicated that the warplanes which carried out the air raids were Russian warplanes.
