Today, a cargo plane dropped several shipments of humanitarian aid over the besieged neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city.
D24 correspondent said that, “The airdropped shipments were delivered by the United Nation Food Program. They consisted of 1600 meals and they mainly landed in the Harabish neighborhood.”
He added, “Each meal weighs 133 kg and consists of sugar, salt and lentils. The shipments were collected by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent who will distribute them later to civilians in the Harablish and the Tahtouh neighborhoods of besieged Deir Ezzor.”
The eastern neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city, which are controlled by Assad’s forces, are experiencing tough economic conditions due to the lack of humanitarian aid supplies, particularly after Daesh managed to separate the Joura from Al-Qussour and their recapture of the mountain overlooking the city and the cemetery area.”
