Yesterday, about 150 Iranian militia members of Afghan and Iraqi nationality entered Albukamal from Iraq, according to a correspondent for DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the members were transported via buses belonging to Assad’s forces after entering through the Albukamal border crossing towards the southern Syrian border.
He added that the Iranian-backed militias transported the members in two batches, under the direct protection of the Iranian “Security Office” members.
The members were stationed immediately upon their entry in military headquarters that were allocated to them, and they were distributed on the outskirts of Albukamal city and in the Al-Salihiyah desert east of Deir Ezzor.
