A member of the National Defense Militia was injured by bullets from a patrol of the Fourth Division, last night, in the village of Al-Salihiya in Al-Bukamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, according to DeirEzzor24 correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the elements of the fourth checkpoint opened fire directly at voices coming from the desert near the checkpoint, thinking that they were members of ISIS, so it turned out that they were smugglers belonging to the National Defense Militia with members of the militia, and this led to the wounding of a member of the Defense Militia.
It is noteworthy that the officer was taken to a hospital in the city of Al-Bukamal, and the checkpoint confiscated the smuggled cargo and released those accompanying the cargo.
